They roost in the Petula trees and sometimes, just because of the sheer number of birds, it looks like the branches are covered in snow.
3. Go on a temple run

Besakih or the ’Mother Temple’ is situated high up on the volcanic Mount Agung, about 3,000 feet above sea level. This is the largest temple complex in Bali and is home to 22 temple structures that are built on parallel ridges. Say a prayer, enjoy the views, click pictures, and learn about its mythological history while you are here.
4. Visit rice fields

You cannot come to Bali and not visit its rice fields. If you stay in a place like Ubud, then most of these rice paddies are just walking distance from you. Two of them are very popular. These are called Tegalalang and Jatiluwih. The latter is a UNESCO site. You may also opt to bike around these rice fields as there are many companies offering tours. It is an easy, downhill bike ride and includes breakfast usually along with a visit to a coffee farm and Balinese village.
5. Soak in the spices
